Experience

George focuses his practice on representing and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in matters before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and on appeals in courts throughout Maryland. His experience covers all aspects of the workers’ compensation litigation process, including appellate litigation, as well as case assessment and developing claims-handling strategy.

During law school, George worked as a law clerk for personal injury and immigration firms and was a legal intern for the Maryland Attorney General: Health Occupations, Prosecutions and Litigation Division, assisting the office with complaints of misconduct by medical practitioners. This experience assisted George with a better understanding of medical issues and allowed him to have success as a Claimant’s attorney. Prior to joining our practice, George handled a very large volume of cases that touched on virtually every aspect of Maryland workers’ compensation law, including death and dependency claims, permanent total disability claims, and appellate litigation.
